They didn’t think she was going to make it due to never having any fluid.....(PPROM 18 weeks)

Krystina story of hope - PPROM at 18 weeks gestation

Our little miracle is the result of years of infertility.

She was our second IVF transfer, at 17-18 weeks I thought I had started to have a weak bladder( looking back I was leaking)

at 18 weeks on the dot we fully ruptured. Went to the doctor and they told us we had no fluid and she was head down.

They were going to induce me. With the help of MFM and our OBGYN’s partner, we decided to fight as long as she could. I was out on bedrest for the rest of our pregnancy.

At 23 weeks I was admitted due to bleeding by suspected placental abruption.

I bled until 25&5 when the bleeding didn’t stop and our miracle started to dip. Rushed to the OR for an emergency c-section.

They didn’t think she was going to make it due to never having any fluid and having poor lung development.

She was in the NICU for 82 days and did amazing! She was on oxygen for 6 months and still has CLD but you’d never know. She’s our little miracle.
