Scientific Impact Paper Published for women who PPROM prior to 24+0 weeks

*** Announcement *** Little Heartbeats Founder and doctors massive achievement,

History on why this is important to me and our team,

On 15th April 2010 I birth my first baby daughter, she died due to the complications of PPROM and I was poorly. I felt there was NO understanding of this condition and I did not feel my care was the best. So I promised my baby Sinead as I gave my last kiss, that I promise we improve women's health so women would understand PPROM to help them make informed decisions and to know there is two sides to PPROM. Last week a paper I have been working on with doctors and professors, well this was published 9th June 2025.

The RCOG has published a new Scientific Impact Paper on care for preterm prelabour rupture of the membranes (PPROM) before 24 weeks.

(Scientific Impact Paper No. 76)"

This paper advises on the emerging evidence on the outcomes and management of PPROM at less than 24+0 weeks of gestation, and its implications for practice and future research.

Thank you for posting about the published work we collaborated on! We’d greatly appreciate it if you could tag Little Heartbeats to highlight our founder’s hard work and connect women with our PPROM support organisation while informing doctors globally we exist so women know they are NOT alone. A mention of our shared efforts would be appreciated! Thanks! Team Little Heartbeats

Massive thanks to all the doctors and professors all researching PPROM who made this possible.

One step closer to improving care for pregnant women who endure PPROM

For our Sinead, Loki, Jesse, Freya and all the baby angels too beautiful for earth, for all our surviving babies who were blessed with going home, this paper is for you
